Restoring the Ancient Foundations

My wife and I lived in what appeared to be a Colonial part of the country in a 1970s-era house. It was a single-story rambler, and the interior was outdated. We wanted to remodel and considered selling and building a new one.

Suddenly, the walls began to separate and move outward. We quickly ran out of the house for protection. Once outside, I noticed the beautiful property—lush and green, on a hilltop surrounded by open grazing land with nearby wooded forests—a range fence wrapped around the house to keep farm animals away.

I noticed two young women climbing on one portion of the fence. They looked elf-like with striped clothing and pointed ears. They might have been a lesbian couple, and there was a mischievous nature about them.

As I walked around the house, looking at where the walls had separated from their foundation, I noticed an opening leading to a hidden stone cellar. As I crawled in, the basement opened up into a stone church. There were rows of neatly aligned wooden pews, but they were empty. A round alcove was constructed in the front of the room. A wooden cross hung in the cavity on the stone wall. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in this place and was reminded of this scripture:

Isa 58:12 “Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”
