I stood in a house looking out the back patio door and saw a large dry valley in the partially moonlit night. I remember thinking it had rained recently, but the ground was dry and hard like concrete when I stepped out into the backyard. A few clumps of grass were growing here and there out of the clay hardpan, but otherwise, everything else looked barren and scorched.
I looked up and saw a star falling from the sky. It was enormous, and I knew that it would hit the earth. I watched as it came down at a gradual angle. It hit the earth with an explosion that threw the earth hundreds of feet into the air, carving its way across the earth's surface like a ship plowing through the ocean. It traveled for nine miles before finally coming to rest. I ran a distance over the hill to find the meteorite, but I only saw a large piece of paper about 3 or 4 feet square. There was writing on it (which I can’t remember) and a silver molten material at one corner that could have been part of a seal.
Isa 14:12-17 “How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! But you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, To the recesses of the pit. Those who see you will gaze at you, They will ponder over you, saying, Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, Who made the world like a wilderness And overthrew its cities, Who did not allow his prisoners to go home?”
Rev 8:10-11 “The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters. The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.”
Rev 9:1 “Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him.”
