The Dominic

I saw a man sitting on a tall stool, towering over a circle of four or five women. He wore a garment wrapped around his groin, but the rest of his body was exposed. The women were sitting and leaning around him and wearing cloth garments partially wrapped around their bodies. The man had a strong personality and harsh demeanor. He had assumed a position of power over the women and claimed them to be his sex slaves. The women were either his by taking or his by their voluntary offering of themselves. To prove his claim, he demanded that each state that they belonged to him by acknowledging that he owned them or by stating they had voluntarily given themselves to him. But when he came to the third or fourth woman, she would not answer. She was hesitating, and I sensed a reservation in her spirit.
