Judaism — An Empty Box

I was looking down on a stone courtyard that appeared to be in front of the Western Wall in Jerusalem, although it could have been on the temple mount. I then heard the song “Jerusalem of Gold” playing in the background, with no words, just music. As I listened to the song, it confirmed that I was indeed looking at Jerusalem. I felt an overwhelming sense of grief come over me.

The grief passed quickly, and then I saw a piano case lined with pink felt sitting in the courtyard. The case looked relatively small, so it seemed as if I was suspended in the air for some considerable height. Inside the case was a rabbi standing in front of a five-armed menorah. The menorah was mutilated, almost as if the metal had been melted. Next to him was a scroll or book sitting on a small table. I then scanned to the left and noticed a brand-new grand piano set up in the courtyard some short distance from the piano case. Then I awoke.

I had never seen such a piano case, especially a pink one. This dream completely puzzled me, and I almost disregarded it as nonsense. I was later told that such cases exist and are used to ship new pianos.

In the dream, God gives you his perspective on Jerusalem and the Jewish people. He is sorrowful over his city. The empty box represents the Jewish religion. The five-armed menorah represents that it is unfulfilled or incomplete concerning the Messiah. The scroll or book likely represents the law the Jewish people still feel they are under. And the new piano represents God's song or spirit awaiting his people to find. Candice.
