Nuclear War

I was driving in a car with an older prophetic woman who is a good friend of mine. She was sitting in the passenger’s seat. It was a one-lane dirt road with two-wheel ruts, and we were heading westbound through a parched desert-like landscape. The road suddenly dropped out beneath, and like on a roller coaster, we plunged down the steep gradient and then gently swooped out onto the plain in front of us. I could feel the sensation in my stomach, a combination of fear and excitement for the unknown ahead. Immediately, the landscape was thrust into complete darkness. I could see people scurrying around, panicking, and holding survival elements in their hands, grabbing just a few things in the moments after the nuclear devastation that hit their cities to the west, primarily San Francisco. They looked at us desperately; “can you help us?” was written all over their faces.

As I continued driving, I had an open vision—a dream within a dream. The sky was brilliant blue, and I could see cruise missiles and other long-range weapons armed with nuclear warheads. They were crossing the sky in different directions, leaving white contrails. I knew some were bound for the United States, but most were heading toward the Soviet Union. I then saw a black Megatron computer screen, and appearing in rows and columns were the names of the Russian cities that were being hit; Kyiv, etc. (Kyiv is currently part of Ukraine). And next to the city names were the number of civilian casualties—tens of thousands each.

I shared all this with the woman driving with me, who could not see the vision. She then stood up in disbelief and left the vehicle. I followed her into her kitchen, where she told me of her upcoming earthly wedding. She refused to accept the things that were coming to the earth. I felt abandoned and discouraged, but the Lord strengthened me and said: “In these last days, you will stand alone in sharing why I have revealed to you. Most will not listen, and even those closest to you will not accept your words and will abandon you.”

This dream/vision is not so much about actual nuclear events but more about how we, as prophets in these last days, will see things from the Lord that the world and even those of His church cannot or will not accept. They are earthly-minded and prefer to live comfortable lives, not prioritizing their calling or matters of the Lord. As His prophets, we must stand firm in our faith, even if we must stand alone. For the world will plunge into darkness, and man will seek those who have an answer. His answer and ours is Christ the Lord.

Luk 17:27 “They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.”

Isa 4:6 “And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.”
